1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on The Resident Hub ("Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

The Platform is intended for use by verified medical residents, fellows, and authorized faculty. Access requires institutional email verification and administrator approval.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account with others. You agree to notify administration immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform exclusively for educational, clinical reference, and professional development purposes. You shall not:

  • Upload, share, or distribute patient-identifiable health information (PHI)
  • Use the Platform for commercial purposes without authorization
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or system resources
  • Post content that is defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory
  • Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute proprietary Platform content

5. Content Ownership & Intellectual Property

All educational materials, curriculum content, quizzes, clinical pearls formatting, branding, and software on the Platform are the intellectual property of The Resident Hub and its founder, Dr. Omar Ibrahim, unless otherwise noted.

User-generated content (forum posts, clinical pearls, shift swap posts, etc.) remains the intellectual property of the respective author. By posting content, you grant The Resident Hub a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and archive that content within the Platform for educational purposes.

6. Medical Disclaimer

This platform is for educational purposes only and is intended for use by medical trainees and healthcare professionals.

It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a substitute for clinical judgment, supervision, or institutional guidelines.

Always use independent clinical judgment and verify information with appropriate sources before applying it in patient care.

The platform and its creators are not responsible for clinical decisions or outcomes based on its content.

By using this app, you agree that you are solely responsible for how you use the information provided.

7. Termination

The Resident Hub reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms, institutional policy changes, or at administrative discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The Resident Hub shall not be held liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Platform, including but not limited to clinical decisions made based on Platform content.

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Users will be notified of material changes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
